I know, I know. That’s the question on everybody’s mind when they are thinking of buying a new Apple laptop.
I’m getting ready to purchase one for my partner. She’s been nagging me about it, but I keep telling her to wait. I keep telling her the same thing about buying a new Honda CR-V, too. Perhaps we need a buzzdroid.com “Hand Signals For Couples - Wait to Make Big Purchase” post that offers advice about this dilemma.
Anyway, if you are getting ready to buy a new Apple MacBook or MacBook Pro (or any Apple product), it’s probably in your best interest not only to shop around, but to check two websites before you buy. I’ve found them helpful when purchasing new Apple products before. Both should help you determine if there is a new model getting ready to be released. Nothing is more depressing than getting your new Apple and finding out you could have gotten a better Apple if you had waited one week to buy.
The first website I recommend is the Buyers Guide section of MacRumors, and the second is ThinkSecret. Of course, you can always check back here at buzzdroid.com. We often keep up with the Apple and Linux Release Information (example here).
Best of luck in your purchase.
