What is a Wordpress Innovation?
A Wordpress Innovation is someone or something that is pushing the limits of Wordpress as a standard blogging platform. A Wordpress Innovation takes the standard Wordpress framework and bends it just a little to the point where even an experienced Wordpress user might say “I didn’t know you could do that with Wordpress.”
Who Are The Innovators?
Nominate your choice for “Wordpress Innovator” by contacting us directly or leaving your nomination as a comment. Submit your nominations for “Wordpress Innovator” before July 31, 2007 (we need a little time to spread the news). Beginning August 1, 2007 you can choose who you think should be recognized as a “Wordpress Innovator”. Final results will be announced September 1, 2007.
At this point, there are no sponsorships or prizes for “Wordpress Innovator”. Some may pop up at a later date, but most true innovators don’t really need an Amazon gift certificate anyway. Simple acknowledgment as an innovator might be enough.
A note about what is not a “Wordpress Innovator” - your blog itself is probably not an innovation. Something you do with your blog or some interesting implementation of your Wordpress blog might be an innovation. This is not a “best plugin” or “best theme” contest either. We want to find the innovators.
We’re leaving this open ended as far as categories and standards are concerned, an innovation is kind of like art - you will know it when you see it.

I would nominate them for the amazing use of Javascript and for pushing the limit of designing with what you can achieve using Wordpress. Their site is a perfect example of a blog+website. They have created separate templates for each page check the “about page” its single column. Then check the “work” page where they list all the projects they have done so far. The attention to detail is amazing. I think its the perfect Wordpress site. After seeing it I realised I had a lot to learn about Wordpress.

This is the way to release a plugin. I don’t think I’ve ever thought of a plugin release as being exciting, but when you add video and you hear “Captain’s Log” in connection with a plugin release, you’re on the right track.
